Gay Marriage Legalised!

Today, The Queen signed the bill, to bring in the law that gay marriage is legal in England and Wales!

Looks like the first same-sex marriage will be next Spring/Summer!

Sleep

It's a strange one.

I love it.

Can't get enough of it.

But sometimes it just doesn't work out. Body and mind refuse to collaborate. For instance, the time when you want to go to sleep, so that when you wake up, you can think about that previous nights sleep. And how calming, soothing, relaxing it was. How you feel so refreshed after such a good nights' sleep. That's the one. I thought you were going to be that night, tonight (last night). You weren't. Tres disappointed.

Just wouldn't let me go to sleep, like I usually would. I can't beat you either. If I could pretend to be asleep, then, well... well, why pretend, if you can sleep?  (can you see the frustration?!)

I am tired. And I want to sleep. The bed is comfy, and the room is warm.

So why can I not seem to put two and two together, and..

Bloody hell! Shocked. Mind you, it was a great game! City went down to 10 men, and then it all went downhill.

Out Of Hospital

Just had a wisdom tooth and molar out, at the hospital. General anaesthetic was a blast. Can't feel my face, and pretty sure I am dribbling. It's a good look, haha! Feeling a bit sorry for myself though.. :/

Sir Alex Ferguson

He's only gone and bloody retired today! Shocking news.. but I suppose at 71, his time was coming. I'm 25, so I've only ever known Fergie to be the Manchester United manager. Whoever is going to take over after this season ends, has got an awful lot to live up to.. Today was football history.

Summer Masked Ball

It's that time of year, for Summer Masked Ball! The last ball at Halloween was absolutely epic, so hopefully this one will be too (if not better).

It's a really good line-up for the Summer Ball; looking forward to seeing Jack Beats again, as they always put on a good show. DJ Yoda is doing an A/V set, which will be as brilliant as his previous shows. I missed The Other Tribe at Halloween, so really looking forward to seeing them this time around, because they're a brilliant band. T.E.E.D will be amazing, too! Not to mention the legend Adamski!

And that's just the headliners.. Always good vibes from the local talent too. Lucky enough to know a lot of the people playing, so have got a lot to look forward to! Bring it on!!

It's That Sunshine Again!

Well, what a bleddy lovely day it has been!

The sun was shining, people were out in shorts, t-shirts, and flip-fops (including me), and smiles were on faces! Seems like everyone has been in awe of some rays from that beautiful sun of ours.. We certainly deserve it!

It's funny what a little bit of weather can do - Everyone suddenly jumps up, gets their arse into gear and appears to be in a bloody good mood! Hoorah!
I completely believe that when people are miserable, it's because of the Winter months.. Everyone suffers from S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder), I'm sure of it.. I know I do! Just knowing that the sun is out, it automatically creates a good vibe! After all, it is what we crave for, at the end of the day.. Isn't it? ..and, of course, to feel the need to take part in out-door activities (drinking in beer gardens).

Let's hope that we've got more of the same to look forward to, because the last two summers in England have been pretty naff. It ain't a good look..

Entourage

Probably one of the TV programmes that I enjoy the most.. There's just something about it, that keeps me drawn in and entertained. To be honest, I've seen every season, and I'm now in the process of watching it again (with the fella). He seems to be enjoying it too!
People says it's a man version of Sex And The City, which I can kind of understand, but it is quiet different in many ways.

They've announced that they're making an Entourage film as well. Honestly.. cannot wait to see that beauty! Never wanted the show itself, to end, so this is an extra added bonus for me.

I think I'd have to say that Ari and Lloyd are my two favourite characters from the group of guys. Those two also bounce off of each other too (and not to mention Ari Gold is fit as fuck, hahaha)!! Ahem. Moving on.. But no, those two are great together. They should be a couple!

Not entirely sure when the new film will be released, but I am enjoying watching all of the episodes again. Currently on Season 3 (Part 2), so still have five more seasons to sit down to.

100 days until Hideout Festival! Cannot wait to get back to Croatia this year, for a second time. Last year was absolutely surreal. Zrce Beach on Island of Pag is a beautiful place.

Nero - Promises / Welcome Reality

The NERO album "Welcome Reality" is bloody brilliant! It's got some Drum & Bass, Electro, Dubstep, epic instrumentals, and tracks with vocals all over them. A very well built album; bit of everything for the dance music lovers - I guess there's a reason why their album and first single "Promises" both went to #1 in the Album/Singles charts.
I highly recommend it!

Things Have Changed..

I logged onto here about a week ago and went on a mass-delete and removed all of my blog posts from 2008. It was a rash decision and now I regret not keeping a fair amount - It's quite sad a see a blank space now. There were some great posts/reads, and I wish I re-read many and continued to store them on here, as they were general rants and raves, moans, and delights!
Perhaps I'll get this thing in motion again (and not delete my entries this time around).

So what's new? Well I think the biggest addition/change to my life is the fact that I have a new boyfriend. He's pretty great and I enjoy his company very-much-so. I expect I'll try to get around to add some blogs as to events, but who knows?!

I'll think I shall leave it at that for now. It feels good writing again - Even if many wont know I've started up for a second time. It nice though. I'll shout you all later.
